Frankenstein Worksheet #5 (pp. 126-131)
mrs_skeptik [129]

Answer:

Victor was the real villain.

Explanation:

Victor wants to destroy Frank - he remembers how he committed murder to get the body parts he wanted to use to create Frank.

*Remember that the best part is that the real villain wants to destroy the monster (Frank) as much as he wanted to create him. He just cannot learn his lesson and this leads to his death.

He is miserable.

What can an author use of a disturbed first person narrator help create in a gothic story?
oksano4ka [1.4K]
If I understand the question correctly... the use of a first person's narration in a Gothic-esque story can be used to delve into the characters mind, not only giving the reader a more understandable connection to the character, but it is able to bring taboo and otherwise unsaid dark thoughts into play of the scene

Find the vertex of the graph of the function.
f(x) = 4x^2 + 24x + 32
Zigmanuir [339]
4x^2 + 24x + 32 = 4(x^2 + 6x + 8)
 6/2 = 3 so:
 = 4( (x+3)^2 - 3^2 + 8 )

= 4( (x+3)^2 - 9 + 8)

= 4( (x+3)^2 - 1)

= 4(x+3)^2 - 4

vertex will be the minimum point, so: now,

4(x+3)^2 - 4 is at a minimum when x = -3 because it makes the stuff being squared equal to 0 so we know the x cord of vertex
is -3 the y cord is the constant on the end, -4

Hope this helps

Read the quoted lines from the play that follow. What literary device does Shakespeare use to develop Helena's character?
agasfer [191]
B. Metaphor

A metaphor is a comparison of two things without using like or as. In these lines, Helena is being compared to a spaniel. She is saying that no matter how poorly she is treated by Demetrius, she is devoted to him.
Imagery is a vivid description that appeals to the senses. Onomatopoeia is a word that sounds like its meaning. Boom, crack, hush all are onomatopoeias.
Personification is giving non-human things human-like traits. The tree branches waved in the wind is one example.

How did the Space Race advance technology
pentagon [3]
A more noteworthy accentuation on math and sciences was acquainted with the American educational system for the future advancement of technology. That is the manner by which Space Race propelled technology. Furthermore, technological progression permits us to have a great deal of things we wouldn't have the capacities to have without it. Google would not have thought of the idea to toss a monster bit of metal in space that snaps photos of each position on Earth. The Space Race made ready for technology today.
