I believe that a good example of this is my 9th grade economics class. My economics teacher stated that you shouldn't waste money without seeing the mathematical proof that your money will be well spent and establish a return profit. Yet, my informal education leads me to believe that if a family member is in trouble and needs money I help them out regardless of the situation because family is more important than money. Therefore both contradict each other. I believe the best way to solve these types of problems is to decide what is more important to you as a person and act on that.
