The pancreas created and controls sugar levels. When that stops functioning (whether it’s type 1 or type 2) a person needs to inject themselves with insulin. A time where the pancreas might need to control sugar levels is when a person eats. Therefore; when a diabetic person eats they might need to give themselves an injection of insulin. Which is why a diabetic person might need more than one injection, because we eat multiple times a day! :) hope this helped

Using sophisticated molecular cloning techniques, you have isolated the genes for two serotonin transporters, called TransA and
kherson [118]

Answer:

Vesicles

Explanation:

Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that transports signals or messages between neurons.

Most neuronal cells have vesicles in their interior, which are organelles that store neurotransmitters for exportation -by exocytosis- or from recycling -by endocytosis-. These vesicles also protect the neurotransmitter from the enzymatic action.

Vesicles form in the cellular soma, from where they are transported to nervous terminals. Once the vesicle releases the neurotransmitter to the intercellular space, their membrane remains available in the plasmatic membrane to be reused.

The neurotransmitter concentration in the vesicle interior is related to the storage system and the transport system. There are specialized transporter proteins in the vesicle membrane that are involved with the introduction of the molecule to the organelle.

In the exposed example, transporter Trans B might be located in the vesicle membranes, and hence could be found in the cytosol of the cells.

Why cannot a population keep increasing forever in an ecosystem?
Dmitrij [34]
A population cannot continue to increase forever because each population has a carrying capacity, which is the max number of organisms that can live in an environment with the available resources. At some point, each population will hit their carrying capacity when they run out of resources.
