What is a common theme in many of Franz Kafka's stories?
Vera_Pavlovna [14]

In many of Franz Kafka's stories, he utilizes the theme of (C) Alienation.

He talks about alienation from society, from others around us and even from our true self. He sees society as something which alienates us from our own selves and does not serve as a sustenance to nourish our true identities.

Which of these modes of transportation would you most likely find in a science fiction story?
Gre4nikov [31]

C. Spaceships

Science fiction is a form of literature that takes place in the future.  Now, because it takes place in the future, all content is made up no matter how well or accurately based on current events it may be insomuch that the future seems logical, possible, and probable.  The futuristic setting will have a heavy foundation in scientific advances (which is where the name “science fiction” comes from), and the setting will typically be in space or a distant world.  As such, it makes the most sense that in a science fiction story, spaceships would be a common mode of transportation.

"He is as good as me."<br> Abstract Noun?
drek231 [11]

I don't think that it would be. Abstract nouns refer to nouns without a presence in the physical world. Examples of this are consideration, and opinion. However, "he" likely has physical presence unless "he" is an idea. "me" is obviously a physical being, but "good" is the only abstract noun here, as "good" isn't an object.

If you're referring to the sentence as a whole, it is not an abstract noun, as sentences can't be nouns. Just making sure you know.

Hope that helps. Let me know if I've misinterpreted your question.
