The northern parts of Canada is extremely cold and living there is very difficult. Think of that as Alaska. Not a lot of people live up there because of how cold it is. Also food is low and electricity is hard to get up there because of the harsh snowstorms. Hope it helped. ''Aldo Rebelo'' is a famous name that known for protecting the Portuguese by not letting new words of English come in to use and he feels that this interference by the English is directly intervening into the heritage and culture of  those people and he is against the spread of English language.

This movement started by him was at an international level and is known as verbal nationalism. A bill was also passed for this. He is doing this so that people can use their own language in their native land and even in work places.
