Climate change is a change in global temprature patterns. Climate change is happening because of greenhouse gasses such as Carbon Dioxide, Mephane, and Nitrous Oxide. It's affecting our environment by raising temperaters, more trash (i guess), and it's ruining wildlife. Climate change has been happening for a very long time. There is a way we can change the global climate which would to be getting rid of dangerous chemicals in factories. Or as a person, stop supporting huge factories that you know use chemicals that are harmful to our planet. Otro segmento que creció poco más del doble en los últimos seis años, en cuanto a sus exportaciones industrializadas, fue el de elaborados de cacao. Las exportaciones pasaron de USD 60 millones a 132 millones, entre 2009 y 2014. Una de las empresas que participa en este segmento es República del Cacao, que exporta a Perú, Canadá, Jordania, Chile, Colombia, Panamá, Estados Unidos, entre otros mercados. Su gerente, Gonzalo Chiriboga, cuenta que la estrategia es crear puntos de venta propios, en lugar de exportar a grandes cadenas. “Desarrollamos chocolate boutiques propias, localizadas en ubicaciones de alto tráfico como los aeropuertos de Bogotá, Lima o Cuzco. Hoy contamos con 19 boutiques en Ecuador, Colombia y Perú”. Adicionalmente, la marca cuenta con una red de vendedores especializados en colocar el producto en hoteles, restaurantes y pastelerías. El modelo de República del Cacao incluye un complejo proceso de control de las variables críticas del negocio, el trabajo en las plantaciones de cacao con 1 800 aliados finqueros, hasta el contacto con el consumidor en las boutiques de chocolate. Según la Asociación Nacional de Exportadores de Cacao, el sector cacaotero exportó alrededor de 238 000 toneladas el año pasado.
