Which option best completes the diagram?
Tanya [424]

Terrorism becomes a major concern of U.S. foreign policy.

This diagram is a timeline about foreign policy. The first box gives the Cold War as a priority when it comes to U.S. foreign policy. The second box for the terrorist attacks on September 11th. The last box must be what happened next. Options A and B should be eliminated because they happened before September 11, 2005. D is the best answer because after the terrorist attacks the U.S. declared a war on terror.

How many electors does each state receive in the electoral college?
JulsSmile [24]

Answer:

Varied.

Explanation:

Each state has the equal total of electoral votes, as the sum of the Senate and the H.O.R. For example, California has 53 members in the H.O.R, and has 2 senate Members. Therefore, California has 55 Electoral votes. However, the only one that does not fit this rule is the District of Columbia, who has only 3 electoral votes.

Which statement best completes the diagram of the ways the different
svp [43]

Answer:

To complete the diagram the correct response is Option A: Congress can impeach justices who are accused of abusing their power.

Explanation:

The branches of government can limit each other's power in a number of ways. For example, it is the Supreme Court that can rule a president's actions unconstitutional. In addition, the President can obstruct the Supreme Court Ruling by refusing to enforce them. This has happened twice historically with Andrew Jackson going ahead with allowing the Indian Removal Act to move forward and Abraham Lincoln defying the Supreme Court on the habeas  corpus ruling. Likewise, the exception clause in the Constitution grants Congress the power to make exceptions to the constitutionally defined appellate jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. Congress can also propose amendments to the Constitution that would effectively make a Supreme Court decision moot.  Finally, the Supreme Court can overturn an  unconstitutional law passed by Congress.
