Pls help ASAP! Where were the Greek plays preformed?

Greek theatres first began in the 6th century BCE in Athens with the performance of tragedy (and comedy) plays at religious festivals in outdoor theaters. Early Greek theaters were probably little more than open areas in city centers. The first plays were performed in the Theatre of Dionysus.
