Answer:

<h3>$4.150/pack</h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the price of 10packs as $41.50, we can express it as;

10 packs = $41.50

To get the equivalent price of 1 pack, we will say;

1 pack = $x

Solving both equalities for x;

10 packs = $41.50

1 pack = $x

cross multiply

10 * x =  1 * 41.50

10x = 41.50

Divide both sides by 10

10x/10 = 41.50/10

x = 4.150

Hence the price for each pack is $4.150

I need to solve V=KT/P for K... Help!
ipn [44]
The equation starts as
v =  \frac{kt}{p}

in order to solve for k first you must multiply each side by p. you must multiply each side by p as it is originally being divided, to get rid of it you must do the opposite operation.
v \times p =  \frac{kt}{p}  \times  \frac{p}{1}
you cross multiply and end up with
v \times p = kt
now to leave k by itself you must divide by t
\frac{v \times p}{t}  =  \frac{kt}{t}
the t cancels out or becomes 1 leaving you with the answer of
\frac{v \times p}{t}  = k

Jon has to pay $7.00 admission for the skating rink in $1.50 per hour to rent rollerblades. How many hours can he skate for $19?
eduard

Answer: 8 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Given information</u>

Admission fee = $7.00

Hour rent fee = $1.50

Number of hours = h

Total fee = $19

<u>Set equation according to the given information</u>

Total fee = admission fee + (hours) × (hour rend fee)

<u>Substitute values into the equation</u>

19 = 7 + 1.5h

<u>Subtract 7 on both sides</u>

19 - 7 = 7 + 1.5h - 7

12 = 1.5h

<u>Divide 1.5 on both sides</u>

12 / 1.5 = 1.5h / 1.5

\boxed{h=8}

Hope this helps!! :)
