Answer:

B) 42 Degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

An angle bisector is basically a line that splits an angle into two congruent angles.

In this case, the large angle ABC is bisected by ray BD.

Angle ABC is given to be 84 degrees, so the measure of angle ABD is exactly half of that, or 42 degrees.

Let me know if this helps!

84/2=42
Since abc:84 degrees, all u have to do is divide by 2 because of the angle bisector

Seven ninths minus one third
erica [24]
An easy way to do questions like these is by converting the fractions into decimals, at least I used to find it easier by doing so when I first encountered them.
So,
7/9 as a decimal is 0.77
1/3 as a decimal is 0.33

You can do;

0.77 - 0.33

You are left with;

0.44

Which in it's simplest fraction form is;

11/25.

Your answer is 11/25.

I hope this helped, if you need help with understanding how to conver then do let me know! ;3

A veterinarian estimated the weight of a puppy to be 7 kg. The actual weight of the puppy was 6.6 kg.
KIM [24]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  • absolute error: 0.4 kg
  • relative error: 6.1%

Step-by-step explanation:

The absolute error is the difference between the estimate and the actual weight:

  7.0 kg -6.6 kg = 0.4 kg . . . . absolute error

__

The relative error is the ratio of the absolute error to the actual weight:

  (0.4 kg)/(6.6 kg) × 100% = 6.060606...% ≈ 6.1% . . . . relative error

Which describes how to graph h(x)= -3 squared root x+8 by transforming the parent function?
storchak [24]
The parent function is f(x) = ∛x

When you change the sign to get g(x) = - ∛x you are reflecting the function over the x-axis (because you are changing the sign of all the images).

When you do g(x + 8) to get h(x) = - ∛ (x + 8) you are shifting the functions 8 units to the left.

Therefore, the answer is the fourth option: reflect the parent function over the x-axis and translate it 8 units to the left.
