Answer:

It is important for people to know about reconstruction, because without it, when stuff breaks we would never be able to fix it. lets say that you broke a toys arm off, and you parent tries to super glue it back on, then that is reconstruction. This also happens to houses where they will destroy the house and rebuild/reconstruct with a new house.
