I need as many opinions as possible, even if this is already answered, please, put your view on this in the comments below. (69

points for brainliest) Do you think that your confirmation bias, if stated in a conversation (like saying you're voting for President Trump or Biden{and stating it[no politicking in this question, I've done that enough today]}) will get a different speech from the other person and even different levels of hate? This can also apply to other arguments where your bias changes, even ones as small as what flavor of ice cream is better, and what your experiences or preemptive thoughts on the situation are. Please and thank you :L

I am not sure if I am understanding this correctly but I will answer it in the way I understood it and if it’s not what you meant I’m so sorry.

I don’t think that there is anything wrong with people changing their point of views on things especially as they become more educated on the subject or just change their mind overtime. There is a big issue tho with how people react to others changing their point of view. I think this anger comes from peoples need to have what people say to us be set in stone and if it changes our brains can’t comprehend that. I think it subconsciously makes people think well they said this and changed their mind so they will either lie to me again or just stop talking to me.

This can be seen in a simpler example of a friend leaving one group for another. This can make their persons new friend group really guarded against the person because they already expect them to leave.

Once again if this was not what you meant I apologize
