2x + 110 + 44 = 180

2x + 154 = 180 ( subtract 154 from both sides )

2x = 26 ( divide both sides by 2 )

y = 2x = 2(13) = 26

The opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal

3z - 1 = 14 ( add 1 to both sides )

3z = 15 ( divide both sides by 3 )
