Two years pass and the war continues. Everyday there are reports on the national news that Iran is winning the war, but Marjane knows this is a lie. She tells her older friends that not even the Americans have an army as large as the Iraqi one that has supposedly already been destroyed by Iran. When the bell rings for class, Marjane's friends tell her that they are going to get a burger at "Kansas."Kansas is a burger joint in one of the nice neighborhoods in North Tehran. The regime had not shut it down and Marjane thinks that this is probably due to their ignorance
I think it's that no man born from a woman can harm him
WHOMEVER the seniors elect will as the president of the class.
WHOEVER the seniors elect will serve as the president of the class.
The answer is whomever, it just sounds better and more proper than whoever. Hope this helps!
In England, Henry VIII opposed the Roman Catholic Church and the Pope's supremacy, and founded the Church of England (also known as Anglican Church).
However, starting from the XVI century, the so-called Puritans started their religious activism and assembling, under the belief that the Church of England should banish all remnants of Catholic doctrine and religious practices.
First of all, they opposed the King's religious supremacy, which had only replaced Pope's supremacy. According to them, only Christ had such power and dignity as to rule over the church.
Second, they wanted to get rid of all church rituals and decorations, some of which had survived.
I have a few tips ~
1. Plan your toast in advance.
2. Use tidy notes for it.
3. Keeping it short.
4. Showing your emotions and feelings.
5. Acknowledging people who are not present.
Hope this helps :)
