Answer:

Compared with preschoolers, school-age children engage in more prosocial acts.

Explanation:

School-age children actively participate / display prosocial behaviors. Prosocial behavior is defined as any behavior that benefits others or has positive social consequences. These prosocial behaviors can be grouped into different categories: Empathy, helpful behavior (the performance of an action to benefit another or improve the well-being of another person) and cooperation (situation in which the objectives of the participating individuals are relate in such a way that each one can achieve their goal if and only if the others manage to achieve theirs). According to the results of various investigations, it is known that there is a regularity of prosocial behaviors in children, but the intensity with which these actions are carried out is not the same in all situations. In the process of development of morality in school-age children, they begin to develop social skills that allow them from an early age to manifest two fundamental classes of behaviors, considering them from the moral point of view: prosocial (altruistic and empathic) behaviors, when they actions are aimed at sharing, cooperating, comforting and helping another person and contribute to the harmonious atmosphere of the classroom; and non-prosocial behaviors, those behaviors that are not in favor of the harmony of the classroom environment and coexistence (aggression, lack of cooperation and interpersonal conflict).

The best way to get your son to take out the trash without being told would be to reward your son on a _____ schedule of reinfor
Mandarinka [93]

Answer: continuous schedule and switch later to partial schedule (variable ratio)

Explanation: reinforcement schedule can be said to be guidlines or rules that govern how, when a behavior should be expressed. It determines the rate of occurence of a target behavior, how it will happen, strengthens it and even when it will continue or stop.

There are 2 types of reinforcement schedule. Which is continuous and partial schedule. The continuous reinforcement schedule tend to use the positive reinforcement strategy. It rewards for a particular behavior is on a continuous basis. Everytime a target behavior is expressed, the person or animal is rewards. The partial reinforcement schedule is of four type and the best for this kind of behavior after switching from continuous reinforcement schedule is the variable ratio schedule. Here a behavior is rewarded variably. The person does not know when the reward will come and so he continues to portray that behavior expected of him or her. It's the best type of schedule when switching from continuous reinforcement schedule.

What is the emphasis in humanistic therapy?
Tpy6a [65]

Answer:

As a psychotherapeutic treatment approach, humanistic therapy commonly holds that individuals are intrinsically great. It embraces an all encompassing way to deal with human presence and gives uncommon consideration to such marvels as imagination, through and through freedom, and human potential. It supports seeing ourselves "all in all individual" more prominent than the aggregate of our parts and energizes self investigation as opposed to the investigation of conduct in other individuals. Humanistic psychology recognizes profound yearning as an essential piece of the human mind and is connected to the developing field of transpersonal psychology.

The point of humanistic therapy is to enable the customer to build up a more grounded, more beneficial feeling of self, just as access and comprehend their emotions to help gain a feeling of significance throughout everyday life. Humanistic hypothesis intends to enable the customer to achieve what Rogers and Maslow alluded to as self-realization — the last dimension of mental advancement that can be accomplished when all fundamental and mental needs are basically satisfied and the "completion" of the full close to home potential happens. Humanistic therapy centers around the person's qualities and offers non-judgmental advising sessions.
