miskamm [114]

Answer:

You might have chosen individuals like Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, or John Dean and Mark “Deep Throat” Felt, or John Ehrlichman and G. Gordon Liddy. Woodward and Bernstein could represent the role of investigative journalism in acting as a check on government power. Dean and Felt could represent the role of people with integrity within the government exposing the misdeeds of others. Ehrlichman and Liddy could represent the abuse of power of those empowered by an administration with misguided ethics.

How is profit maximization in a monopolistic firm different from that of a pure competitor?
Pavel [41]
The monopolist's profit maximizing level of output is found by equating its marginal revenue with its marginal cost, which is the same profit maximizing condition that a perfectly competitive firm uses to determine its equilibrium level of output. Indeed, the condition that marginal revenue equal marginal cost is used to determine the profit maximizing level of output of every firm, regardless of the market structure in which the firm is operating.

What might happen if an economic is unable to produce wanted goods and services?
bekas [8.4K]

personally, I believe people will go without them, but it is also very possible people will look elsewhere for them, but its all a matter of perspective. I think that if the economy cannot produce the goods and services, no where else is able to either, thus, you'd go without it, and it isnt to say you wont want it. You will, maybe even more so. And I doubt people will focus on needs more than they already are, unless it gets worse for the consumer itself in that regard. I cant say im right though.

Zanzabum

Answer:

I believe the answer is C. The Jesuits, who are Catholics, used the word Confucianism instead of the Mandarin Chinese name. Thus, the word is not originally Chinese, and Confucius likely didn't call his movement that.
