I think the correct answer would be the third option. Cell membranes are present in both plant and animal cells. Both cells are eukaryotic cells so that they both contain membrane-bound organelles like the mitochondria, nucleus, lysosomes and the endoplasmic reticulum. Also, Both cells have the same processes for reproduction including mitosis and meiosis. For plant cells, additional structures can be found namely the chloroplasts, vacuoles and the cell wall. Another difference of the two would be the size. Animal cells are smaller than plant cells. Animal cells would have sizes ranging from 10 to 30 micrometers while the plant cells would be 10 to 100 micrometers.
The rate of exchange of materials in and out of the organism depends on the organism's surface area or the amount of area in contact with the surrounding. Moreover, the amount of substance needed by the organism is dependent on its volume.
Fossil fuels:
Advantage: easier to find and transport
They generate thousands of jobs
Disadvantage: butning fossil fuels for the environment degrades it and contributes to global warming
Hydroelectric:
Advantage: Hydroelectric power can be created 24/7 indefinitely assuming that the body of water it is utilizing never runs dry. It is also another absolutely clean source of energy.
Disadvantage: The turbines and dams that are built on the rivers or streams interrupt the natural flow of the fish and other wildlife that lives in the area.
Solar energy:
Advantage: Solar power helps to slow/stop global warming. Global warming threatens the survival of human society, as well as the survival of countless species.
Disadvantage: the sun doesn't shine 24 hours a day ao it can supply you with energy at night
When any animal becomes extinct reguardless of its position in the food chain there is a trickling affect to all other links, creating overpopulation and over kill of other species now that the habitat balance has become skewed. Having one species become extinct will cause further issues a for other species down the road.
