Well if she’s doing a two month membership she will have to pay $215
This is because if you follow the y=mx+b form you get b=175 Bc that represents the cost for application and the m=20 Bc it’s 20 dollars per month. This then means the 2 is the x because it’s that’s the value/the months. So then y=20(2)+175, 20(2)=40, 40+175=215, y=$215

If the re-expressed regression line is ln y = 8.7 + 0.23x, what is the value of y when x is 12?
Sauron [17]

Answer:

y=11.46

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 8.7 + 0.23x \\ y = 8.7 + 0.23(12)

y = 8.7 + 0.23 \times 12 \\ y = 8.7 + 2.76

y = 11.46

to \: multiply \: 0.23 \times 12 \\ you \: convert \: the \: decimal

= 23 \ \times  12 \div 100 \\  = 276 \div 100

= 2.76

Pls give the steps and the reasons
lana66690 [7]

Answer:

m<ADB = m<DBC

because they're alternate interior angles.

m<ABD = m<BDC

because they're alternate interior angles.

DC = AB, opposite sides.

AD = BC, opposite sides.

m<ADB = m<ABD, adjacent angles.

m<BDC = m<DBC, adjacent angles.

The curved dome has the area of half a sphere with radius 8 in. That is

... A = 2πr² = 2π(8 in)² = 128π in²

The lateral area of the cylinder is

... A = 2πrh = 2π(8 in)(7 in) = 112π in²

The area of the flat base is

... A = πr² = π(8 in)² = 64π in²

Then the total area of the figure is

... (128π + 112π + 64π) in² ≈ 304·3.14 in²

... = 954.56 in² . . . . matches the 2nd selection
