Answer:

so simple

Explanation:

Summary: Chapter 10

The village holds a ceremonial gathering to administer justice. The clan’s ancestral spirits, which are known as egwugwu, emerge from a secret house into which no woman is allowed to step. The egwugwu take the form of masked men, and everyone suspects that Okonkwo is among them. The women and children are filled with fear even though they sense that the egwugwu are merely men impersonating spirits.

The first dispute that comes before the egwugwu involves an estranged husband and wife. The husband, Uzowulu, states that the three brothers of his wife, Mgbafo, beat him and took her and the children from his hut but would not return her bride-price. The woman’s brothers state that he is a beastly man who beat their sister mercilessly, even causing her to miscarry once. They argue that Uzowulu must beg Mgbafo to return to him. If she agrees, the brothers declare, Uzowulu must understand that they will cut his genitals off if he ever beats her again. The egwugwu decide in favor of Mgbafo. One village elder complains that such a trifling matter should not be brought before them.

Which lines in the excerpt from Elizabeth Bishop's "The Fish" use assonance?
kipiarov [429]
Well, we cannot possibly know since you haven't written this excerpt here, but assonance is the repetition of the same vowel (a, e, i, o, u) throughout one or several lines, so you can see for yourself what the correct answer is. :)

sertanlavr [38]

It is TRUE to indicate that the "Equal Dignity Rule" requires that if a contract entered into by an agent it must be in writing. The agent’s authority with the principal must also be in writing.

What is the Equal Dignity Rule?

According to the above legal principle, an agent acting under a power of attorney must have written confirmation of their ability to enter into contracts, particularly those that must also be in writing.

In order to be legally able to engage in one of the types of contracts covered by the statute of frauds, the agent acting under a power of attorney must have written authorization in the power of attorney document, according to the equal dignities rule.

Any such contract that the agent signs into may be contested as invalid in the absence of such specific written authority.

For instance, state statutes of fraud generally require that all real estate transactions be in writing and that the agent's authority be similarly in writing, therefore an authorization for real estate contracts must be in writing.

If the real estate transaction (such as a land contract for deed) is anticipated to be recorded, the power of attorney often must also be documented.
