How to write a paragraph about an adventurous experience that consists atleast 200 words
Llana [10]

Answer:

The answer to your question is:

Explanation:

Today was gonna be a great day. I knew it would be. The reason was that we were going to scale Mount Kilimanjaro in one day. It sounded like a world record to me! But mountaineers are tough and never give up, so I knew I could do this. I met my teammates at the foot of the mountain with my gear. We were racing against another team and they had already started climbing the mountain. With no time to waste, we started climbing the mountain. During the mountain climb, an event took place. We had to stop for an hour at a cabin located some feet above the mountain. So as I was saying, during the mountain climb, came an avalanche. One of our team members got hit by a heavy rock and went rolling down. He managed to cling to a tree branch though, i rescued him after a good thirty minutes since it was very hard. The rest of the journey was eventless and we finally reached our rest sport. Then after an hour we continued hiking and found the other team stuck in the snow, they weren't able to free themselves. We completed the rest of the hike, put our flag on the peak of the mountain. I felt immense pleasure, that I was able to scale the mountain in a day. Then we rescued the other team's members and went back to our cabins to rest. It was an amazing and truly spectacular adventure.

Hope this helps....

Have a nice day!!!!

Hello,
Alchen [17]

Answer:

I frequently text my friends on my mobile phone, but I'm not like some people who always use their phones, even when they go out with friends. I am using it at the moment because I am revising with some friends tomorrow (our exams start on Monday) and we are trying to decide where to meet. Texting helps you organise your life, but shouldn't dominate it.

Explanation:

The different tenses in Grammar refer to the use of the verbs in a certain way that will help specify the 'time' of the event. In other words, tenses help us understand the events, whether it is in the past, present, or the future.

In the given blanks, the use of the verbs in parenthesis will be based on the structure of the words. And by using either the simple present or the continuous form, we can understand what events/verbs are done frequently or things we do all the time, or occurring at the same time it is talked about.

The verbs in parenthesis are changed in the present simple or continuous form as follows-

I frequently text my friends on my mobile phone, but I'm not like some people who always use their phones, even when they go out with friends. I am using it at the moment because I am revising with some friends tomorrow (our exams start on Monday) and we are trying to decide where to meet. Texting helps you organize your life, but shouldn't dominate it.
