How does the stimulus check impact society please help me please i really need help please

Mathematics

Lostsunrise [7]3 years ago

Answer:

The stimulus check impacts society because it helps people or rather encourages people to invest. Not only individuals but also businesses. It also shows how the stimulus check gives more than peoples incomes. Not everyone can get the stimulus check, only tax payers who pay taxes every year and have a public job. This impacts society because not everyone can get the stimulus check, and some people receive lots of money and other people might get just a little. At the end of the day, it all depends on how much taxes you are paying each year and which job you have.

Hope this helps! :)

In a study of pleas and prison sentences, it is found that 6060% of the subjects studied were sent to prison. Among those sent
Dovator [93]

Answer:

a. 40 %

b. 34.3 % ( approx )

Step-by-step explanation:

Let S is the event of the subjects studied that were sent to prison,

S' is the event of the subjects studied that won't sent to prison,

G is the event of pleading guilty,

G' is the event of not pleading guilty,

According to the question,

P(S) = 60% = 0.6 ⇒ P(S') = 1 - P(S) = 1 - 0.6 = 0.4,

P(S∩G) = 46% of 60% = 0.46 × 0.60 = 0.276,

P(S'∩G) = 36% of 40% = 0.36 × 0.40 = 0.144,

P(G) = P(S∩G) + P(S'∩G) = 0.276 + 0.144 = 0.42

a. The of getting someone who was not sent to prison, P(S') = 0.4,

b. the probability that this person was not sent to prison when it is given that the subject entered a guilty plea,

P(\frac{S'}{G})=\frac{P(S'\cap G)}{P(G)}=\frac{0.144}{0.42}\approx 0.343=34.3\%

Find an equation with vertical asymptotes 1 and 4 and horizontal asymptote 1 please help
Brilliant_brown [7]

Answer:

y = 1 + 1/((x -1)(x -4))

Step-by-step explanation:

To get vertical asymptotes at 1 and 4, you need factors (x -1) and (x -4) in the denominator. As x approaches 1 or 4, one of these will approach zero, and the function value will approach infinity.

To get a horizontal asymptote of 1, the function must approach the value 1 when the value of x gets large (positive or negative). This can generally be accomplished by simply adding 1 to a fraction that approaches zero when x is large.

Here, we make the fraction be the one that gives the vertical asymptotes, and we simply add 1 to it.

... y = 1 + 1/((x -1)(x -4))

If you like, this can be "simplified" to ...

... y = (x² -5x +5)/(x² -5x +4)

_____

In this rational expression form, please note that the numerator and denominator have the same degree. That will be the case when there is a horizontal asymptote. (When a slant asymptote, the numerator degree is 1 higher than the denominator.) The ratio of the coefficients of the highest degree terms is the horizontal asymptote value (or the slope of a slant asymptote).

Select all values of x that make the inequality true: (6x<24)
Stolb23 [73]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  A, B

Step-by-step explanation:

Divide both sides by 6 to see what those values should be:

  x < 4

Of course all negative numbers are less than 4, so choices A and B are correct. The given positive numbers are not less than 4, so the remaining choices are not correct.

How much difference do a couple of weeks make for birth weight? Late‑preterm babies are born with 3434 to 3636 completed weeks o
Helen [10]

Answer:

0.0128

Step-by-step explanation:

(Use technology and enter your answer rounded to four decimal places.)

We apply the z score formula to this question

z = (x-μ)/σ,

where x is the raw score

μ is the population mean

σ is the population standard deviation.

We are given: N(2750,560)

x = 1500 grams, μ = 2750 grams, σ = 560 grams

= z = 1500 - 2750/560

z = -2.23214

Determining the Probabilty value from Z-Table:

P(x < 1500) = P(z = -2.23214)

= 0.012803

Approximately to four decimal places = 0.0128

The probability that a randomly chosen late-preterm baby would have a very low birth weight, less than 1500 grams is 0.0128.
