- Passing of the 95 thesis by Martin Luther which opposed the rule and authority of the church in the year 1517.
- Opening up of new churches by a swiz reformer which challenged the power of the catholic church in 1519.
- Revolt by the people in Germany against the authority of the catholic church and of the local princes in 1524.
- In the year 1534, king Henry of England, opposed the power of Catholics and also took away the land and established an independent church.
