Answer; 20 weeks

Explanation;
Given,5 cases containing 6 cartons
=boxes in each carton= 12 x 6= 72
= 72 boxes of sauce in each case
= sauces in all 5 cases= 72 x 5= 360
Therefore narrator uses 18 boxes of sauce each week
To find how many weeks it will last we divide 360 with 18 as 18 sauce boxes are used every week and total sauces are 360=

18/360= 20
Narrator uses the sauce boxes for 20 weeks.

Hope it helps you.

sasho [114]

Answer:

60 different meal packages are possible.

Step-by-step explanation:

Fundamental counting principle:

States that if there are p ways to do a thing, and q ways to do another thing, and these two things are independent, there are p*q ways to do both things.

In this question:

4 types of drinks

5 types of sandwiches.

3 types of chips.

They are independent events, so, by the fundamental counting principle:

4*5*3 = 60

60 different meal packages are possible.

A photography studio charges $50 that includes a sitting fee and 6 prints. Luigi increased his order to 11 prints and paid $65.
Effectus [21]

Answer:

Sitting fee - 32$

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a system of equations(let x represent the sitting fee)

x+6y=50

x+11y=65

You want to isolate the x variable - x+6y-6y=50-6y ; x = 50-6y

Input this into the 2nd equation: 50-6y+11y=65 ; 50+5y=65

Subtract 50 from both sides. 5y=15 (Divided 5y on both sides) ; y=3

Now that y = 3 input this into any equation I choose the 1st one.

x+6(3) = 50 ; x + 18 = 50 (Subtract 18 on both sides to get x)

x = 32

Prove: 32 + 6(3) = 50 ; 32+18 = 50 ; 50 = 50 True
