In my opinion homework should be optional due to several reasons, the first reason is that some people may not be able to do the assignment. Some examples are that they may have a job that requires late hours, or a sports event of which they are depended on or they may have issues at home. Another reason is when people finish school, they may just want to go home and catch up on missed sleep that has been caused by the previous nights homework or getting up really early. If students receive homework from their teachers every night then the lack of sleep or lack of time for chilling out could cause some to lack attention and others could struggle to keep their heads off the desk. Also if homework was optional then the students who are struggling could do it in their own time as practice without worrying about the next nights homework.

Perspective is simply a fancy word for viewpoint, so when we are talking about an author's viewpoint, it wouldn't be said as bias, prejudice, or objectivity. Yes, depending on the content of course, but in general, when it comes to perspective, it'd also would be called insight.
