During the Industrial Revolution, there was a large open market when it came to selling and buying commercial goods. In the capital free enterprises, there was the ability to produce child labor for decreased amounts of money. This made it easier to produce goods and to make a profit. Soon, the industrial revolution turned toward a technology driven factory system, which allowed for even less workers. This allowed businesses to grow and become more cost efficient.
