No.

Explanation:

I would answer no, you would spend a year of happiness and then remember nothing or you can find happiness in the year without having to lose the memories of that year. this can raise issues like depression or anxiety thinking about the wasted year.

Basically Persia was able to defeat Athens in the Peloponnesian War because over the years Persia had grew in power and had gotten stronger than Athens, But even though the Athens were very powerful their selves. It was no match against the Persians and they had unfortunately fallen in a very long battle.
