One of the main issues regarding slavery and the constitution was whether or not African-American slaves were considered to be people and citizens. If all men are created equal, then they as men should also be created equal. This was resolved with the 3/5ths compromise which established that slaves were 3/5ths of a man and that therefore they couldn't be free citizens of the states.

  • The ongoing Cyprus dispute: is a conflict between the two communities that coexist in the island: Turkish and Cypriots (connected to the Greek culture). There was a Turkish military invasion in 1974, when the Turkish occupied the Northern third of the island and self-declared the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, only recognized by Turkey nowadays. The different republics that formerly constituted Yugoslavia (he SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SR Croatia, SR Macedonia, SR Montenegro, SR Serbia and SR Slovenia), declared their independence, even tough there still existed internal ethnic tensions on each.
  • Iraq: ethnic conflicts due to the divisions between the Sunni and Shi'ite factions in Iraq. Concerns emerged with the arrival of Sadam Hussein to power. The conflict stills ongoing nowadays.

Because Henry wanted to have a son but couldn't with every one of his different wives, he had went against his religious valves. When he did, he had changed England in a certain way. He had made people turn against the pope, so that way Henry could have the authority to be in charge of the churches, so that way it can allow him to get a divorce and try to find a woman who is young, so he could try to have a son. Once Henry died, all three of this children had each a turn of becoming ruler of England. Things didn't go according to plan as Henry had hoped.
