The town of Los Alamos, New Mexico, was built by the US government in the early 1940s as a site for research on atomic weapons. In order to catch up to German advances in the development of atomic power, the Government of the United States authorized a top-secret program of nuclear testing and development known as “The Manhattan Project.” It  sought to develop the world´s first atomic bomb, and most of the research as well as devolpment for this project were carried out at a facility built in Los Alamos, New Mexico.

Well around 1810's I would say the north was more against sectionalism since there were more Federalists and nationalists there. The War Hawks who wanted the war with Britain with nationalistic views, so they would not want to split up with sectionalism

Free African Americans actually can apply to different jobs<span>. </span><span>They can work as laborers, helpers and other more. </span><span> But this level of freedom does not guarantee that they enjoy their rights as free Africans. </span> They are required to bring papers that proved their freedom. I<span>f they are not employed, they can still be sold. </span>
