Answer:

The issue that NATO is facing is the rebuilding of Afghanistan devastated by the war against the US.

Explanation:

NATO is an intergovernmental military alliance created after the end of World War II in the context of the bipolarity formed between the United States and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics during the Cold War period.

Since January 2006, NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) has begun replacing US troops in southern Afghanistan with Operation Enduring Freedom. The 16th British Air Assault Brigade (later reinforced by the Royal Marines) formed the core of the southern force of Afghanistan, with troops and helicopters from Australia, Canada and the Netherlands. The initial force consisted of about 3,300 Britons, 2,300 Canadians, 1,400 Dutch, 280 Danes, 300 Australians and 150 Estonians. Air support was provided by American, British, Dutch, Norwegian and French airplanes and helicopters.

In January 2006, NATO's goal in southern Afghanistan was to form the British-led Provincial Reconstruction Team in Helmand, while the Netherlands and Canada would direct those projects, respectively, in Oruzgan and Candaar. The local Taliban have expressed opposition to the arrival of the new force in power promised to resist.

How can you theme “Struggle for Freedom” connect to society today? Explain your answer by giving at least 1 example from your co
Wewaii [24]

Answer:

The theme “Struggle for Freedom” can connect with the social minorities' constant struggle for freedom and equal rights.

Explanation:

As absurd as it may seem today, in the 21st century, social minorities are still deprived of various privileges and rights, among which freedom can be considered one of the most important. However, members of these minorities face a constant struggle, every day, claiming that they are treated equally and that they have the same freedoms as social majorities, since they are citizens and pay their taxes like any other. This is the greatest example of a "struggle for freedom" that today can witness.

An example of this struggle can be seen in the protests of blacks against the police violence that is raging against them. In these protests, blacks seek to claim their freedoms not to be judged, violated and killed, solely because of the color of their skins.
