step 3
find x intercept
for y=0
y=(-4/7)x-2------> 0=(-4/7)x-2-----> 4/7x=-2----> x=-14/4----> x=-3.5

the x intercept is (-3.5,0)

step 4
find the y intercept
for x=0
y=(-4/7)x-2--------> y=-2
the y intercept is (0,-2)

the answers are
the x intercept is (-3.5,0)
