Answer: 22  students made the team this year

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Total students tried out for the team = 40

After a week , 40% of students made the team, students made the team = 40% of 40

= 0.40 x 40

= 16

Remaining students  = 40 - 16 = 24

After second week, students made the team = 25% of (Remaining students)

= 0.25 x 24

= 6

Total students made the team this year = 16+ 6= 22

In the figure above, the radius of the inscribed circle is inches (in.). What is the perimeter of square CABD?
elixir [45]

Answer:

perimeter of the square is 32 inches

which agrees with the last answer in your list of options.

Step-by-step explanation:

Notice that the radius of the circle is exactly half of the side of the square, therefore, each side of the square must be 8 inches long.

Then, the perimeter of the square (addition of its four sides) is :

4 x 8 inches = 32 inches

aleksandrvk [35]

Answer:

-3

Step-by-step explanation:

(fg)(-1) is just f(-1) * g(-1). From the graph on the left, we can see that f(-1) is 1, since (-1,1) is on the graph. From the graph on the tight, we can see that g(-1) is -3, since (-1,-3) is on the graph. Now, we just have to multiply 1 and -3: 1*-3 = -3
