These are separatists movements. Such groups commonly have a desire to become independent from the country where they are and have their own country based on their own sovereignty since they believe that the country which is in possession of the territory is not treating them well.
German was in a vulnerable state after the WWI. They were angry, confused, and lost. They needed a leader, and Hitler had a special way of twisting people's thoughts. Germans were assured and told that they had done no wrong, that the other countries were the bad ones. Hitler told them that Germany was the best and that everyone should love Germany. Many Germans clung onto that. Hitler also promised better lives, which was probably the most appealing. After all, Germany was not living so comfortably after being billed huge war costs, along with a lot of hatred from other countries. He also said Germany would only be governed by responsible people to reassure citizens, although that turned out to be majorly false under his rule.
Hope this helps! Have a great day :)
The Marbury vs. Madison case resulted in John Marshall (and the other justices) giving the Supreme Court the power of judicial review. Essentially, this gave the Supreme Court the power to rule on the constitutionality (or legality) of laws made by Congress.
This expands the power of the Supreme Court, as they are now able to get rid of federal laws that go against any of the rights discussed in the Bill of Rights. This concept of judicial review still plays a critical role in the Supreme Court today, as they are constantly ruling on different cases that deal with the legality of federal laws.
