Huge dams will be made, and the water will be used for the production of electric power to feed the economies, but also for irrigation as the region is mostly semi-arid, for drinking, and for the industry. In order to boost the economy and help in the development of the large urban areas, canals will be made to the ones that are not located at the river's banks. Transportation through the river's waters will skyrocket as it will be fast, safe, and cheap.
