With fewer people living under one roof, there is more space for everyone. Children in large families often have to share rooms while those in small families can have their own rooms.Family size means the number of people in a family. A family is said to have small size if it comprises father, mother and few (usually one to four) children. A large family size is made of father, mother and more than four children.Children in small families, especially first and only children, tend to have higher school and personal achievement levels than do children of larger families. It is easier for both parents to combine careers with family life. The general stress level is lower because there often are fewer conflicts and less rivalry.Small family is known as nuclear family . Nuclear family consists of father , mother and 1 or 2 children . Nuclear family is known as happy family .
