Answer:

By reading the stanza, you can tell he is really struck with fear when he realizes there isn't anyone at his door. You can also tell he is desperate for his wife by how he calls to her, even with her being dead and no one in sight. He calls to her as if there is slight hope that it is her coming back from the dead.

The narrator stares into the darkness. He stares. He stares some more. He starts dreaming about the impossible and finally whispers “Lenore.” “Lenore” is echoed back.

Explanation:

We begin to sense the heartbreak experienced by the narrator. He so longs for his lost love that he begins whispering her name, desperately hoping for a response. Does he actually hear a response or is he hallucinating?

hodyreva [135]

The speaker is at first, afraid. They are struggling with their inner self about whether or not to jump. The speaker states that they struggle to the end. As the/she gets a look into the rippling water below, their fear grabs them even more. But soon, he/she states that a voice told them that if they were going to jump, to just jump. After another second of contemplation, the speaker finally overcomes their fear. Their transformation went from a person full of fear at the thought of jumping, to a person empty of that fear who cleared their mind and just did it.

Hope this helps!

Hallie has two tasks both due on the same day: math homework and a short English essay. Which should she start on first to make
Olin [163]
Both would be fine, I prefer to the one that takes most energy first.

if you were writing the essay, I would start with the essay because it uses a lot of energy from your hand.

If you were typing it, I'd start with math because it uses your brain a bit more.

Honestly, I don't really get what you mean by using energy but that was my best.
