Based on Figure 2, we can conclude that, as the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) increases, the temperature in Antarctica increases, as well. It's the same the other way around - when the CO2 concentration decreased, so did the temperature.

We can see two spikes - about 125,000 years ago and in the present. In the present, there are almost 400 mean parts of CO2 per million. Because of this, the mean temperature increased to about two degrees Celsius. About 25,000 years ago, the temperature was about - 8 degrees, which is a very significant change, showing us how strongly the concentration of CO2 affects our climate.
