D-Day Invasion:

Cause: were undertaken by the Western Allies in an effort to liberate mainland Europe from Nazi occupation during World War II. The Normandy landings were the largest seaborne invasion in history at the time.

Effect: The Germans killed a lot of french defenders on the beach to get revenge from WWI.

They blocked of bridges, roads, paths from anyone trying to get away. They were trying to take over France. They fully secured the beach with more than 50,000 vehicles and about 100,000 tons of equipment

The Japanese attack on Pearl Harborcaused about 2400 dead, almst 200 planes destroyed and 8 battleships destroyed or damaged.
