I dint get all the words but it sounded like Dr Strauss was on my side and like the other one wasnt. Then Dr Nemur nodded he sai

d all right maybe your right. We will use Charlie. When he said that I got so exited I jumped up and shook his hand for being so good to me. I told him thank you doc you wont be sorry for giving me a second chance. And I mean it like I told him. What can readers conclude about Charlie based on his description of this event? He doesn't really want the operation, but he wants to please the doctors. He doesn't really understand what's being said, but he pretends that he does. He doesn't really understand what's going on, but he wants to be a part of it. He doesn't really like all of the doctors, but he's willing to trust them.

Answer:

C

Explanation:

First of all he really doesn't understand what the debate is all about. It's not about pleasing the doctors. It's about being given another chance to do something that "fixes" him.

He doesn't understand everything, but he knows that they are trying to make it better for him and he wants to be part of it. So that means that C is the right answer.

A run-on sentence is a sentence having two independent clauses
quester [9]
A run-on sentence is a sentence having two independent clauses with improper punctuation and without conjunctions. The correct answer is option b. It is difficult to understand a run-on sentence because you cannot identify where to pause or stop and that the sentence does not have conjunctions which would help in the transition of clauses.

Answer:

But the rose-colour swiftly faded." I emphasize with this phrase/quote as it symbolises  that the warmth of the colour rose was fading away, which shows that something dreadful had occured for this to happen. The verb "swiftly" means quickly showing a quite similarity of someones life ending. Comparing to the rest of the extract this phrase shows how the sky was drained out of its colour. This phrase implies the sky is slowly loosing its happy touch which gives off some sort of hope to the reader.

Answer:

\boxed {\boxed {\sf A. \ Violence \ in \ society}}

Explanation:

Notice that each answer choice has a common theme of violence.

However, choices B (violence in popular music), C (violence in video games), and D (violence on television shows) are concentrated on one area/place where violence is prevalent. They are not very broad.

On the other hand, choice A (violence in society) is probably too broad for a 10 minute speech. There is all sorts of violence in society as a whole and there are too many things to touch in a ten minute time period.
