Which choice best describes a reason a writer uses commentary?

English
1 answer:
BigorU [14]3 years ago
9 0

Answer:

To provide explanation and analysis of evidence.

Explanation:

A commentary is a detailed explanation from the author's side, the expression of his/her opinions about whatever is being discussed or referred to. In other words, we can say that a commentary is when an author provides an explanation about the events or a situation.

One of the primary reasons why writers use commentaries is to provide explanations and also their analysis of evidence that's been provided or given. This allows the writer a chance to express his/her opinions about that particular point or the point made or argued about in a text.

Thus, the correct answer is the first option.

Lesechka [4]

Answer:

to socialize with them because when you get to a teenager, you don't really do that anymore. Thats sad because as a mum/dad, you watch your children grow up and they start doing things without you, like they don't hold your hand anymore so spend as much time with your family as possible. Copy of which suffix means the process of using an instrument to examine
romanna [79]

A suffix is a morpheme or words added at the end of the word to form a new word or change the meaning of the word.

Example, with the suffix -etic (means relating to), an athlete is changed into athletic and energy is changed into energetic which changes the meaning of the word.

Hence, a suffix which means the process of using an instrument to examine is -scopy

Example, bioscopy, and microscopy.

Your teacher tells you that you have good decoding skills. What does she mean?
Natasha_Volkova [10]

Answer:

                 Hello I'm

·.★·.·´¯`·.·★ ★·.·´¯`·.·★.·

Decoding skills are critical for reading success. Early on, readers decode slowly as they must say each sound and blend the word. After several years of practice, kids begin to decode faster. Soon, the audible sound-by-sound reading melts away. Eventually, kids utter the entire word in one utterance.

Explanation:

Here is a little example.

The teacher told Wendy that she simply needed to read aloud to her son, Jackson. He was in second grade and he had not developed decoding skills. When Jackson came across uncommon words, he used the first letter to guess. Oftentimes, if the book was new (one he hadn’t memorized) the sentences sounded like a word scramble: Henry (?) Harry (?) or is it Helen(?) went to the park (?) picnic (?) no it’s play right? Wendy thought, “But I’ve read to him since he was a baby.” The teacher didn’t want to say, “read aloud to him,” but such advice was standard protocol at the school.

Lucifer
mihalych1998 [28]

Answer:

Check below for the answer and explanation.

Explanation:

The author, in these two excerpts, describes the consequence of sin and disobedience to the creator. Lucifer and Adam utterly fell from grace and the positions of honor that they were despite the uniqueness that surrounded their existences. This is as a result of their acts of unfaithfulness and insubordination unto God.

In both excerpts, the author describes Lucifer and Adam as specially and uniquely made. Concerning Lucifer, he said, " ...O Lucifer, brightest of angels all". He describes Adam as "...made by God's own finger, And not begotten of man's unclean seed", "...and had power at need Over all Paradise".

The author goes further to explain how great the punishments of their disobedience unto God were. Lucifer fell into hell and became Satan. "... yet he fell though sin Down into hell, and he is yet therein". He describes Lucifer's misery as perpetual, the one he will never escape from. "Now thou art Satan, and canst never win Out of thy miseries; how great thy fall!" Adam also fell from the position of high esteem that he was placed and was driven out of his beautiful abode, Eden. This is because he disobeyed the decree of the creator, similar to the act of Lucifer. " Than he None ever on earth stood higher, till his deed Drove him to labour, Hell and misery."
