We are not “too” dependent on electronics as of right now because we live among generations that lives before the era of technology and we have learned to be self sufficient from them. As generations pass, the need for electronics and technology will rise and we will eventually raise a generation that doesn’t know life outside of electronics.

What is the main idea of Chapter 1 in Animal Farm?.
Zinaida [17]

Major makes a stirring political speech on the injustices that their human captors have imposed upon them and the necessity for animals to fight against Man's tyranny.

  • The reader is given an introduction to the environment (a farm), Mr. Jones, and the animals. In contrast to the animals' current misery under Mr. Jones and their future suffering at the hands of the pigs, Major's speech presents an idealized image of the future.
  • The fundamental theme of Animal Farm is how ordinary people may still have trust in a movement that has been wholly deceived. Orwell claims that Napoleon and the other pigs in command work to sabotage the revolution's promise of democracy.

Thus this is the main idea of chapter 1 in animal farm.
