Is it considered abuse if your parents yell or hit or toss you in your room. This has been going on for a while I live with both

my parents and I have a good relationship with my mom but my dad has always been an a-hole and he's always been abusive and has anger issues my mom is the one who backs me up. He gets mad for little things and goes from 10 to 100 hes jokes are cruel and not kind. So here i am today I just had got back from vacation with them we unpack fast forward till later my dad comes storming in my room like and i d i o t and starts yelling at me because i put his cloths in the closet he is really messy and leaves his shi around the house especially in my room. I always ask him to take his stuff out but he doesn;t listen honestly it's depressing living in all that clutter. He has a pile of clothes on my desk that I use for school and gaming and has this big as a stroller in my room that takes up a quarter of my room not to mention the fact that he uses my closet for his ugly cloths and puts boxes of his boots under my bed. I've always considered calling the cops or someone becasue i can't stand living with him but i always re-think it and am older now no one wants a 14 yr old kid they all want toddlers i'd be in foaster care for the rest of my years so i just stay queit but trust me there has been plenty of chances and I also don't wanna get taken away from my mom or my other family. I have a great great grandmother living at 93 and i wanna be there for her until she takes her last breaths. Its a big cycle and I don't know what to do i get yelled at and shi. I just want out he is evil and so is his daughter my (sister) that child screams for everything and is so sassey at only age 4 and my dad doesn't give none he lets her get away with anything and if im lucky will give her a slap on the wrist while i get punished/yelled at. Night after nights i would wish to be treatd better but everyone always says but he puts a roof over your head and buys you things. I'm sorry but this isn't the way to treat your kid. Sometimes i would even fall asleep crying my mom was always there to comfort me. what should i do???

Change active voice into passive
a.the yellow car ran over the cat
Daniel [21]

Answer: The cat was ran over by the yellow car.

Explanation:

When we use passive voice, we place focus on an object/person that experiences an action, instead of the object/person that performs the action (as in active voice). The object in the active sentence thus becomes the subject in the passive sentence.

The yellow car ran over the cat.

The cat was ran over by the yellow car.

As evident in this example, a passive construction consists of verb to be (was) + past participle (ran).

Do you think Harrison Bergeron knows he will die as a result of his behavior? Are you shocked by his death? Is it foreshadowed i
Jet001 [13]

Answer:

Harrison Bergeron seems to know he will die for he did not try to leave even after he had made his point.

It is not shocking to know he will die for it is better to be dead than being held captive.

There seems to b no foreshadowing for his death.

He did what he did even after knowing he will die because he wants others to see the faults of the government and the need for someone to stand up against this oppression.

Explanation:

"Harrison Bergeron" by Kurt Vonnegut is a depiction of a dystopian world where in the name of equality, people are made to wear disguises. Handicap seems to be the norm for equality, for everyone seems to have one thing or another on their body too keep them at par with the rest. Those more intelligent or more physically superior are made to wear disguises to be equal to the others.

The main protagonist Harrison is also made to wear disguise to hide his superiority. In protest against the oppression, he stormed the TV studio at the end of the story. If he had wanted to survive, he would have just made his point and escaped. But instead, he began dancing with a ballerina, urging the others to discard their 'handicaps' and join him. He and the ballerina were shot dead by the Handicapper General.

This death is not shocking as it would have been better to be dead rather than be a captive of an authoritarian government that restricts one's capabilities.

Through his death, Harrison seems to tell the world that this oppression is wrong and that there should be someone brave enough to take on the role of fighting for the right thing.
