There isn’t really any context, but I would guess it relates to family, as in, for example, I am a descendant of my Father and Mother because they gave birth to me.

Answer:

Where is the paragraph?

Explanation:

But here are some meanings to the word descendants

literally: One who is the progeny of a specified person, at any distance of time or through any number of generations. descending from an ancestor.

biology: A later evolutionary type.

linguistics: A language that is descended from another.

Descendant is used as a noun, it refers to someone who descends from someone else. Descendent, on the other hand, refers to the act of moving downward. Descendent is a word that is used in place of descendant now, though its usage is less common.

Hi guys what is a railway cottage and how would you analyse railway cottage<br> Thank you
prisoha [69]

Answer:

railway cottages" are small workers' houses, originally built by railway companies for their employees (most likely in Victorian times). They tend to be near railway stations (but not in them) and railway lines, not surprisingly, and may even have a street address such as "3 Railway Cottages". They will all have been sold off on the private market, in most cases a long time ago, or bought up as social housing by local governments, so anyone may now live in them.

Read the excerpt and analogy, then answer the question.
Irina-Kira [14]

The analogy is meant to show parallels between two sets of words. Fertile is to arable as vague is to clouded. If you understand either pair it can be used to decipher the meaning of the other pair you don't know.
