HELP PLEASE!! 2. How did the Union’s military strategy lead to victory for the North and economic devastation for the South? 3.
max2010maxim [7]

Answer:

2. How did the Union’s military strategy lead to victory for the North and economic devastation for the South?

The Union military strategy basically consisted in encircling the Southern economy, by blockading the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean, and also taking control of the Mississippi River, which divided the confederacy in two, and impeded economic integration.

3. How did the Black Codes marginalize African Americans in society

Black Codes prevented African Americans from doing certain things (these prohibitions varied from state to state), for example: voting, educating themselves, learning how to read and write, and aspiring for public office. These codes were prevalent even in free states.

4. Why were the Native Americans resistant to establishing a relationship with the U.S. government after the Civil War?

Because the U.S. government had treated Native Americans in a very poor manner in the past, specifically by forcing some the tribes to abandon their lands and relocate to reservations in the West (what is known as the Indian Removal Act and the Trail of Tears).

A "naturalized" U.S. citizen
Hunter-Best [27]
D: completed a citizenship process

After serving in the military, even for 5 years, you still have to apply for naturalization and get approved in order to naturalize through military work. You must also meet a lot of requirements beyond your military service to be eligible.
There is no citizenship contest.
Being born in the United States automatically makes you a citizen, you do not need to be naturalized.
D is the only answer that upon completion makes you a naturalized citizen because you have gone through the process of naturalization.

Needing a better economic situation prior to World War II, _____ reduced unemployment rates by building up its military, directl
gregori [183]

Answer:

Italian leader Mussolini.

Explanation:

After the end of the First World War, Italy was deemed as a victor. However, Italy was not fully satisfied with the terms of the 14 points agreement of the Treaty of Versailles.

Under the leadership of Benito Mussolini, Italy wanted to reorganize its former territories and spread its influence over to the newly formed nations. With these aims, Mussolini emphasized on uplifting the economy through direct state control of its citizens. He introduced a fascist government and aimed to expand its influence to other territories.

In order to increase the economic condition, he reduced the unemployment rate by conscripting citizens into military force. As a result, the increase in Italy's military force and expansion violated the terms of the treaty which demanded for reduction in arms and military force.

How did architects create elements in the dome of Hagia Sophia(in Istanbul)that float higher than any previous dome?
CaHeK987 [17]

Answer:

Hagia Sophia is a religious building in Istanbul, Turkey.

Explanation:

“Hagia Sophia” is known for its amazing architecture means, “holy wisdom”. It is famous for the huge dome and relics of nails of ‘Jesus’ and ‘Shroud’ of Mary.

Initially, the weight of the dome was an issue as a series of earthquakes caused the dome to collapse. But then it was reconstructed. Architects had re-build the entire interior walls to make it stronger and robust to back the dome’s weight.

“Pendentives” (in form of spherical triangles) were used as a structural transition between the base which was of square shape and the dome which was of round shape. This way the load was transferred to the base walls and the ground.

The "pendentives" made it feasible to position the dome placed upon a square compartment.
