Empiricism is the belief that knowledge can only be obtained through experience and use of the five senses. It became a popular

approach to science during the later years of the Scientific Revolution. What effect did this belief have on scientific study in future eras?
Scientists took a more deductive approach in their work--they tried to work our answers logically instead of experimenting.

Scientists as a group became more opposed to religious interference in daily life.

Scientists became more biased in their work--they saw what they expected to see.

Scientists became more open-minded about the results they expected to see in their experiments.

Which statement explains the most likely reason why the presidential election of 1800 had a different outcome than the president
kolezko [41]

This question is incomplete. Here's the complete question.

Which statement explains the most likely reason why the presidential election of 1800 had a different outcome than the presidential election of 1796? A. Voters came from an increased number of states. B. Voters feared the federal government had become too powerful. C. Voters sought a government based on fewer local laws. D. Voters wanted a leader who came from another region of the nation

Answer: B. Voters feared the federal government had become too powerful.

Explanation:

In 1796, the Federalist John Adams had been elected as president through an electoral debate that had already addressed the role and size of the federal government. However, by the 1800 presidential election, the voters had become increasingly fearful of the federal government having too much power over the states. In this election, it was the Democratic-Republican Thomas Jefferson who won the presidency with his promise of an agrarian republic far from Adams´s idea of a strong central government.

Why was the congressional reconstruction unsuccessful and successful?
Firlakuza [10]
The southern(who were previously Confederate) states all wrote new Constitutions and swore loyalty to the Union by 1877. Also, the 13th amendment(which states no slavery nor involuntary servitude is allowed unless punishment... in u.s.), 14th amendment(forbids states to restrict simple rights of citizens etc,), and 15th amendment(citizens in U.S. cannot be denied due to race, color, etc. to vote) were acknowledged and remained after the reconstruction. Former slaves also had a new life ahead of them: they could now be educated, choose who they wanted to marry, and choose jobs. Unfortunately, the reconstruction didn't heal African American/ white man wounds; and even though there were laws for equality, for many upcoming years, many black people still had many problems with white people who still believed they were somehow superior.
