The Ohio Gang were some of Harding's closest confidants in his cabinet, which led to charges of nepotism within the administration. Teapot Dome was another area that led to charges of corruption and bribery. These all impacted life in the US because it showed that the administration that they had chosen to lead them was corrupt.</span>
