Well, I think you need to find synonyms for the important words in an essay prompt because when you’re in about 3rd or 4th grade; you learn something called tag and drag. Basically what that means is restating a question while you’re answering it.

Which of these topic ideas is appropriately focused for a compare and contrast essay?
LiRa [457]
I would say (b) because this answer is the most focused.  It's also a topic which would easily fit in a five paragraph essay, while the others would most likely require extensive research and would only fit in an at least ten page paper.

Write a paragraph on the topic ,,leisure is the time for doing something useful”.
masha68 [24]
Leisure is the time for doing something useful. During your leisure time, you are often free of responsibilities and cares. This creates the perfect opportunity for accomplishing things that need to be accomplished or for doing things that can be useful. If you need to clean up around the house or take care of something else you’ve been procrastinating, your free time is the perfect chance to get it done. Maybe you want to progress your skill in a hobby or other activity. Leisure time gives you the chance to practice and better yourself. If we all use our leisure time wisely, we will find ourselves becoming much more productive and we will enjoy our time much more!

Write a compare-and-contrast analysis in 150 words or more of how Greg Ridley from "The Treasure of Lemon Brown" changes from th
VashaNatasha [74]

Answer:

In Walter Dean Myers' story "The Treasure of Lemon Brown," Greg's perspective on himself and the world changes. Greg's perspective changes before, during, and after meeting Lemon Brown. Before the event, Greg was enraged with his life. As he walked away from his house, frustrated with his father, he said, "The dark sky, filled with angry, swirling clouds, reflected Greg Ridley's mood," Afraid of his father, school, and himself, Greg fled that night. During the event, Greg began to think about his father and appreciate more things in his life.

“His father has been a postal worker all Greg's life,” Greg thought as he sat on the couch, looking out the window. But when Greg reflected, he realized how much his father has done for him and began to appreciate him. After that, Greg began to value his life and his father. Gregory thought to himself during their conversation: "He had seen the man picking through trash and pulling clothes out of the Salvation Army box." He did not appreciate what he had before meeting Lemon Brown, but he started to appreciate more after meeting him.

Although Greg has had many different perspectives on his life and his father, he has had many difficulties in his emotions such as anger, disapproval, and approval. I have learned to be grateful for what I have rather than what I do not because there are people who have nothing.
