The term music also means the set of sounds that make up a piece of music. Music takes its name from the nine Muses of ancient Greek mythology. In this sense, music differed semantically from the current use of the term, and included all the arts that were under the protection of the Muses. Today we can say that music as an art, comes to meet the need of man to express with his sounds, thoughts, feelings and mental states.
