How can I summarize this, like rewrite this as a thesis statement? (5-6 sentences)! The reason that Religious Freedom was import

ant was to assure that the harms of the British Government could not be repeated. Christian religious groups played an influential role in the British Colonies, and they were the ones who mostly tried attempting to enforce strict religious observance through both colony governments and local towns. People/Americans who fought for Religious Freedom were Roger Williams, Richard Allen, Lucrettia Mott, Sojourner Truth, Sitting Bull, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther king Jr. It is the first amendment, and even though most people are powerless to defend themselves when their freedom is threatened, which that shouldn't be the case, because if you believe in something and someone doesn't believe in the same thing as you, well you shouldn't hate them for that, but instead protect your Religion, protect what you believe in, instead of hating them back, just because of the different beliefs, etc.

Religious Freedom was vital because it ensured that the British Government's wrongdoings would not be replicated. Christian religious organisations were powerful in the British colonies, and they were the ones who sought to impose strict religious observance through colony governments and local towns. Roger Williams, Richard Allen, Lucrettia Mott, Sojourner Truth, Sitting Bull, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King Jr. were among those who struggled for religious freedom. It's the first amendment, and even though most people are helpless to defend themselves when their right is challenged, that shouldn't be the case, so if you believe in anything and anyone else doesn't, you shouldn't hate them for it; instead, you should uphold your religion and what you believe in, rather than hating them back. Simply because of the various religious views, etc.

The Wilmot Proviso, one of the major events leading to the American Civil War, it would have banned slavery in any territory to be acquired from Mexico in the Mexican War or in the future, including the area later known as the Mexican Cession, but which some proponents construed to also include the disputed lands in south Texas and New Mexico east of the Rio Grande.

This was controversial between the Southern and Northern states, because this allowed the Union to always have more representatives in the House of Representatives and would make sure that the Union could control the Southern states and vote against anything will slavery.

Answer:

The Battle of Iwo Jima

Explanation:

The US invasion, called Operation Detachment, aimed to conquer the island, including its three airports, to use the region as a base to launch more effective attacks on the main Japanese islands. Disregarding the controversies behind this invasion, the Battle of Iwo Jima is one of the most bloody conflicts in the War of Pacific.
