The answer to the question above would be the following one: He is an amazing cook, a great painter and a loyal friend. As you can see, two phrases out of three are NPs (amazing cook, loyal friend) and the other one is a verb phrase (makes great paintings). Therefore, the best option would be for all the phrases to be NPs (amazing cook, loyal friend and great painter).
