Answer:

3/10

Step-by-step explanation:

2,3,5 are the primes on the spinner so P(prime) = 3/5

probability of 'not heads' means P(tails) which equals 1/2

multiply the two probabilities 3/5 · 1/2 = 3/10

Explain why the system has the answer given. Solve each system by elimination to prove your answer.
andrey2020 [161]

Answer:

Proved below

Step-by-step explanation:

System of Equations

There are several ways to solve a system of linear equations. One of the most-used is the method of elimination which consists in adding two or more equations to eliminate one or more variables.

The system shown in the question has evidently no solutions because we have the same variables related in the exact same way in the left side of both equations and a different number as a result of those operations.

To prove the statement, let's multiply the first equation by -1

-x-2y=-8\\x+2y=20

Adding both equations:

0=12

This false result comes from the fact that we tried to solve a system with no solutions. The only way we could have solved it is that both right sides had been equal

Factor x3 + x2 + x + 1 by grouping. What is the resulting expression? (x2)(x + 1) (x2 + 1)(x) (x2 + 1)(x + 1) (x3 + 1)(x + 1)
yanalaym [24]

Answer :(x^2 + 1)( x + 1)

Factor x^3 + x^2 + x + 1 by grouping

We group first two terms and last two terms

(x^3 + x^2)+( x + 1)

Now we take out GCF from each group

GCF of (x^3 + x^2) is x^2

GCF of +( x + 1) is 1

(x^3 + x^2) +( x + 1)

x^2(x + 1) +1( x + 1)

Now we factor out x+1 that is in common

(x^2 + 1)( x + 1)

kifflom [539]

If you apply two translations, then order doesn't matter. However, if you apply a translation and a rotation, then the order will matter because you'll be able to get two different image outputs. So it depends on what the transformations are.
